It is our pleasure to offer for your consideration from our personal collection in our smoke-free home: A very lovely vintage late 1930's Ladies manual wind 17-jewel Wristwatch with a 14K solid gold case and gold numbers. The date in the booklet says 1938. On the back is marked "Hamilton" and is engraved "HBP" On the face is marked "Hamilton" Included are the original hardcover case and the original watch booklet with the price tag of $55.00 ($55 in 1945 is about $762 in today's dollars). This is a watch that has been in our family since it was purchased new. This watch used to work， but it has been in storage since the early 60's and now it's not working. It may just need cleaning， but we are not sure so it is being sold as non-working， As-Is， for parts or repair and no warranty. It is a vintage item that has been worn and respectfully used and it has wear and aging that would be expected for an item like this that has been used and handled， so please do not expect it to be new. There are light scratches， smudges and wearing on the front and back of the metal case and there are a few light scratches on the crystal. The cord wristband has some wear and some of the metal on the band has tarnish. Please review all the pictures. We will pack this carefully and we will ship quickly.
